The proprietor of Morris Jewelers in Gastonia chased out armed robbers with a gun Wednesday.
What would have been a smash-and-grab robbery still left $7,000 of injury, but very little was stolen. No accidents had been described.
Channel 9 attained security footage from the moments armed robbers broke into Morris Jewelers.

Three suspects walked into the shop sporting masks and hoodies, keeping baggage and weapons.
They right away went toward the jewellery, smashing the displays nearest to the door.
Just before they were ready to get everything, the owner of the retail store, Michael Hennes, pulled out a gun and pointed it at them, creating the suspects to operate out of the shop.
The theft happened just right before 4 p.m. at the keep at 1301 East Franklin Boulevard.
“I just reacted,” Hennes advised Channel 9′s Ken Lemon.
Hennes was doing the job in his workplace and found the men walking towards the front doorway.
“Men with masks on, hoodies, hammers in hand,” Hennes reported.
Hennes stated he realized what was heading to take place up coming, so he grabbed his firearm and created his way to the entrance doorway.
“It was incredibly frightening, but it took place so speedy,” Hennes claimed. “It was just instinct. There was no preparing. It just transpired.”
Morris Jewelers has served the group for 85 decades and has been in his loved ones for 3 generations.

There had been three staff members and a person customer in the store, which was a robust enthusiasm much too, he explained.
“Jewelry can be changed,” Hennes explained. “The shop can be fixed. Life are unable to.”
The robbers shattered two situations but received no jewellery.
Hennes followed the gentlemen as they ran to a van outside the house.
He informed Lemon that he was hoping to get just about anything that could support law enforcement catch them.
“I hope it helps make (robbers) feel 2 times and think that it’s not going to be so effortless,” Hennes mentioned.
Hennes expended Thursday morning cleaning up and operating to change the destroyed display instances.
The operator said he would insert extra security.

Hennes in no way fired his gun.
Gastonia police officers mentioned they have read about very similar robberies in Huntersville and Concord.
They have reached out to law enforcement there, but Gastonia law enforcement explained it’s too early to say of the instances are linked.
The suspects have not been arrested nevertheless.
