Every manager has items like in-trays, folders and personal computer files registered in their names; then why shouldn’t the employees possess the same? There is appreciable employee empowerment when these suggestion are put into practices, as they will enhance their ownership.

Provide the employees with projects to work on. In a situation where the employees are only resources to help a manager satisfy his/her goals, then they don’t do feel involved in the task. However, by putting individual employees in control of small to medium sized responsibilities, it is possible to ensure they feel valued and empowered.
